I was asked to make a wrist corsage for a young man's date for the semi formal at out local high school. He wanted sometthing different. His dates dress was a bright blue satin with beading and rhinestones on the bodice. I would love to show you the photo of this handsome couple but I don't really know the girl very well and don't want to put her photo up without her permission. Trust me...they look fantastic.
Here is the finished corasage. I handcut and formed the paper petals into a shape of a rose. The base of the flower was florist wire. I watched a couple of vidoes on utube on how to make a real corsage and then just did the same thing with paper.
I added in the glitter which I was so happy mimiced the bling on her dress...didn't even know that was coming. What a fun project and I would love to make more. Sooo, if you have a prom of semi formal coming up and would like to have a corsage like no other at the dance let me know.
That is gorgeous. You did a beautiful job. I'm sure it will be treasured for years to come.
