Birthday Layout

Gail's birthday was back in December, she turned 12. She waited until January to have some friends over for a sleep over party. Her and her friend Molly made sleep over cupcakes from the Hello Cupcake cookbook she got for Christmas. This book is fantastic! If you have a little person in your life that likes to bake and is into cupcakes you really should pick this book up. The little girl in the bottom right photo, on Gail's left, our right, is her friend Emma. Emma has been at every one of Gail's parties....all 12 of them. They are special friends and I love that they can enjoy this day with eachother.

I cut the title on my Cricut using the shadow feature. The cake was cut from a DCWV paper, I mentioned the paper stack in an earlier post. Picked that up at Js one day. The flower stamps are from Stampendous. My link to the stamps is not the exact one but you get the idea. I stamped the flowers, colored them in with colored pencils and then attached them with popdots. I forgot who the paper is from, but I got it at A Time For Memories in Grafton MA.

I also used some Stickles on the cake and journaling area to give it some sparkle. I really enjoy taking paper and cutouts and colring them in or adding other elements to make them my own.

TFL ladies. I am off scrapping with Helen for the day...enjoy the nice weather! MF signature
