Paper Cake Topper

I have been having so much fun with paper flowers lately...I just can't stop myself from jumping up and down in my studio every time I am making one.  I know...goofy for sure.

I have also started to make cake toppers for wedding and occasion cakes.  Check out this sample I did for a cake decorating friend, Tina, from Sweeter By The Moment.

The flowers I made are peonies, my version of a rose, and daffodils.  I also took the middle section of the daffodil and created another flower in white. 

The little bow sign was a sample for a bride that is marring her first love, how sweet. They met when they were 17 years old.  Both married others and had children but it did not work out. They were reunited and now are getting married.  It really is a ver sweet story.

Just can't get enough of these paper flowers.  I just love making them!  Have a great day everyone! Stay warm...it is cold here in MA.
