MAMBI School Collection

I told you I would be back with another look at the new collections MAMBI has come out with at this years CHA show.  Well, check this out....the new school lines.

This is a wood apple I picked up at the unfinished furniture store in my town.  I cut strips of paper and torn them into little bits.  I then mod podged them onto the apple.  Made a little band with paper and topped it off with a sticker matted with cardstock.
I made this pencil holder out of an dink mix container.  It was a clear white color so I did not even need to paint it.  More paper and stickers anrd a few deco punches and waaalaaaa!
Easy pencil toppers using stickers and paper.  Added some twine as an accent and I think it only took about 30 minutes to make them all.

This calendar is made out of bar coasters, more paper, stickers and ribbon.
I used some of my spellbinders dies to cut out little frame accents to go with the stickers.
I embossed this die cut shape with my Swiss dot embossing folder...love how it looks.

Well, that is it for me for today.  Don't forget to leave a comment and you may win a goodie bag from me at the end of the week.

  3. ...this calendar idea seems familiar...LOL. I would love to make several of these for my neices and nephews to hand out to their teachers. Having no kids of my own, I spoil my family with my creativity :)

  5. Where do you come up with some of this stuff?! To have your creativity for a day, that would be a great prize. LOL! The MAMBI crafts are very cute, wish I had kids of my own to use the school items.

  6. Just going through past posts on your block. I don't have children in school anymore but love the ideas which could be used with other papers and embellishments.

  8. Great projects Maryfrances. I really like the apple one. Seems like it would be relatively simple. :)
