Not even going to say how long it has been. I know...I know...way too long. Lots of stuff going on and lots of things to chat about. But, for now I just wanted to post one of my new projects. Just love how this came out, even if my photos of it really stink. But, once you see you will get the gist of it. Thanks to my friend Helen for the inspiration and also for the ladies at SAR for the challenge.
OCT 31st Album
Just a little close up of the cover. I started with a Melissa Francis chipboard album that I got at CK Hartford for $2.00. What a bargin. Too bad I did not buy a bunch of them. Oh well, this one was fun fun fun. I went hog wild with the Stickles. And don't you just love my little scalloped month embellishment. Picked them up on Esty one night when I was up late poking around. I just love them. Also have some HS chipboard letters, BG sticker letters, diamond glaze to make the "Oct" and "31" pop from the scalloped month. And one last touch...a stick pin I found in my stash. Can't even tell you how old it is and where it came from.
This one is of Gail and her first Halloween dressing up. She was just about two years old and the cutest 50s girl we had ever seen. I used some FP chipboard and covered it with Pink Paislee Vintage Moon papers. Added in some PP letter sitckers for the "99", some HS flowers and Karen Foster Halloween ribbon. I cut the large scallop from a piece of scalloped Bazzill that I use as a template and keep in my bag now when I go cropping.
This page is one of many in the book. I have captured each year since the kids where born. Grant as a pig, gorilla and Buzz Lightyear. Grady as a football player, Robin and a race car driver. Here I used more HS flowers, Pebbles Halloween word stickers, and more Karen Foster Halloween Stacked stickers. The paper her is Creative Imaginations.
You can see more of my album HERE. Thanks for checking it out! Happy Scrapping.
