September 12, 2007

We have a new addition in the Fabbri house. And it is of a 4 legged nature. I am not taking any responsibility...except for the actual finding of this little bundle of joy! It was all Gregg's doing. For the past few weeks he was the one sending me emails and links to various creatures in need of a home. His name is Ace and he is 1/2 black lab and 1/2 weirmaraner. He is just the cutest thing. So quiet and somewhat shy. He came to us from a rescue group in NH called PUPPY ANGLES We found him on line and filled out our application last week. Two of our favorite breeds in one. We looked into purebreds but that was just not the route we wanted to take this time. We felt the need to share our kiddos and home with some little guy who needed a home more then others. Gregg and I drove to NH on Monday after they approved our application and picked from the 6 puppies they had. ACE is his name. His mom was being breed in Kentucky and when the neighboring weirmaraner hopped the fence the owners of the mom where not happy that 6 puppies where the result. Well, there misfortune (how can that be a misfortune?) was our gain and ACE is now living the high life in our home. And we could not be more thrilled. Kuddos to Sherry and all the volunteers at Puppy Angles. They do this all out of the goodness of their heart and they should be commended. If you are in need of a puppy and want to do a good deed, and you live near NH, I would recommend Puppy Angles for sure. Sherry was just the best to work with. There are going to be many scrapbook pages in ACE's future. I JUST KNOW IT!! How can you not scrap that face...OH I AM IN LOVE!!! Enjoy your day everyone. Ace is snoring at my feet right now. Almost time to go out and go potty!!
