I used a mustard color paint from Home Depot. If you live in Shrewsbury and need some help go see Kay at HD. She is fantastic!
I got my glaze from Sherwin Williams. It is tinted with Van Dyke Brown. I distressed the edges and top with sandpaper, a big old chain that Gregg took off the camper for me, and a hammer. That part was really fun.
I used a spray matt finish for the top sealer, did not really work out so well, kind of blotchy. But, I took some steelwool to it and it look pretty good after that.

What do I think??! WOW! All of those techniques in your very first piece...you're killin' me, MF!! I love the base color w/the distressing to highlight that beautiful piece - and the tinted glaze on top looks gorgeous!! This piece really turned out awesome MF...now I'm inspired by you! :)
