It's going to be warm today

I thought today would be a nice day to share some warm weather projects.  It is going to be a nice day today here in MA and I can't wait for the warm weather.  Gregg opened the pool this weekend and the water is a 48 degrees...anyone ready for a swim.  NOT...brrrrrr.

I can't believe how big Grady has gotten...he was so little in this picture below.  I fell in love with this watermelon stamp a few years back when I was working for My Stamp Box stamps.  I used it for so many fun projects.

I made a frame above and colored it in, super fun and it really did not take too much time to complete.  You could try this technique with any small stamps you have.

Here you can see it close up.  Adding the same colors from the watermelon to my journaling pulled the layout together.  Again, super easy and not too much time.

Here is a card I made to show off the stamps in another way.  I cut each one out and then added them to the front of my card with pop dots.  Coloring and cutting them out did take a little more time but well worth it in the end.

I little pink fabric strip used to as an accent pulls the colors together nicely...don't you think.

Well, got to run...I see the sun and need to take advantage of it while I can.  Enjoy your day.
