More MAMBI projects

Day two of my project I did for Me And My Big Ideas is here.  I am so excited to show you this altered sleigh.  And how fun is the fact that I got this wooden sleigh at M's for $1.95....what a bargain.

I used the Vintage Birdcage paper pack from MAMBI as well as a bunch of Softly Spoken stickers.

One of the things that I think is really cool about the Softly Spoken stickers are how they are layered.  You can use them as is or take them apart and create you own little scenes with them.  The above photo shows a number of different stickers all taken apart and put back together again.  I took the clocks from one sheet and used them with the birds from another. 

I also love the Mambi Sticks in Black Flourish Glitter.  You can see them above.  I add a little red dot of Stickles for an accent.  I used these back in 2012 on this birdhouse and I think they added such a great touch.

I love the how the top of this came out.  I used my die cutting machine and made the little circle embellishments to add to the top of the sleigh.  I then replaced the ratty cord with a piece of ribbon. 

 

 

The top embellishment was again a few pieces from different set of Softly Spoken stickers.  Some more MAMBI Sticks and some Stickles for the fun of it....
