A gift for a friend

I just finished this little, well not so little, gift for a friend. She is the type of friend that always appreciates the handmade aspect of something. I love that in people.

The entire piece measures about a foot so not that little for sure.  I used up some scraps from my Christmas bin for this one.  I think next time I will make the rings smaller.  I used 12x1 inch strips.  I think I will cut them down to 8 inches.
