myStamp Box...demension

Hey Hey Everyone!  Happy day today!  Today my sweet little boy turns 10.  Can't believe how time flies.  The sweet little boy woke up at 3:50 am...5 minutes before he was born.  Gregg found him sound asleep this morning in the study with Sports Center on.  He must have come down and put it on and then fell back asleep.

He woke to find a decaf coffee...don't judge now!  With it was an apple pie and a Cinnamon Bun from 7-eleven...his favs.  Happy Birthday my sweet little man!

Now on to my project I have for you today.  I did a little tutorial on this fun and easy card I just made.  If you want to try out adding dimension to your card give this one a go.

Gather up your supplies and get cracking.  I used the flower from the Bits and Pieces myStamp Box set. Cut out a circle or scallop circle that fits the size of your stamp. Stamp your flowers onto the cut out.  I am using GP White Cardstock I got at WalMart.  It works really well.  I got the idea from a Copic class I took at Ink About It.  I then used my Copics to color the stamped flowers in.  I then stamped a few more flowers and colored and cut out the center piece of the flower.

Using some Helmar ZapDots I added a cardstock circle, in lavender, below the flower to make it pop.  Then using the ZapDots again I added the center of the flower.

You can really see the dimension in this image.

I then cut out a piece of lace cardstock from KI Memories and attached that to the base of my card.  I liked this because it gave more dimension to the card as well.  Its not as high but still have a nice effect

Here is the finished card.  TFL!

Have a great day everyone!
