T-Shirt Lovelyness

So, I have this little machine called a sewing machine and up until about 6 months ago it has been pretty neglected.  I once, way back when, was an avid quilter and pretty much quilted or sewed every day of my life.  This the little hobby of scrapbooking and paper arts kind of took over my life and sent me in another direction other then my sewing machine.

Well the bug has hit me again and I can't stop.  I just have to sit my butt in front of my machine, even if just to look at it.  I know, kind of corny, but the excitement about a sewing project is a fun addition to my already crazy crafting habits.

So, the obsession has led to ruffling and poofing anything I can get my hands on.  T-shirts for the most part are what I have been playing around with lately, but there is a baseball hat by my machine that is next in line for some ruffling floral happiness.

Here are some of my latest creations.  BTW...if you would like to purchase one of these sweet little things let me know by sending me an email at maryfrances@townisp.com

Here is the first t-shirt.  Pink is so in and one of my favorite colors for sure.  Here you see a little bit of ruffles and a flower, made just like the paper ones I do in scrapbooking, with some beads in the middle.   Don't forget to check out my label I attached.  I used some TT stamps and white Stamp In Up ink for this.

Here is a close up of the flower and some of the ruffles....are you drooling yet?

Here is another flower with a rubber button in the middle and some netting tulle.

I added it to the pocket of this t-shirt...very cute I think.

And here are some floral ruffles (that is what I call them) made up of individual cut heart shapes and then sew on in a random pattern.

I love this one in grey.

And this one in black is really nice....very classic.

Thanks for stopping by today.  If you want to see some others I have had done in the past go check out my first try at these from earlier this spring.  Click Here.  I hope you like what you see.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  Have a super day!

I am getting into sewing now and have all kinds of projects running in my head but am not going to allow myself to start one until I finish that darn kitchen table I'm refinishing!! Grrrr! Anywho! I love the ruffles. I think the gray one is my favorite.
