A new favorite of mine

My little Grant has such a tough time with reading and writing. He is a very emotional kid and sometimes the pressure of "Writer's Workshop" is just too much for him. On Valentine's Day Grannie Annie came to see the kids at each of their parties....btw I am the room mom for all three of them. What the heck was I think? When Grannie got to Grant's class they were still doing their writing and Grannie helped out Grant. What a special visit this turned into for Grant. Just want he needed to make what is usually a tough time enjoyable. Now, if we could get Grannie to move by us we could do this more often. Here is my layout that I am really proud of. These are the moments we are suppose to capture and I am so happy my camera was on hand for this one. Journaling Reads: Grannie helped you with your writers workshop assignment while visiting school on Valentines Day. What a super special visit from Grannie. Supplies Used: Scenic Route White Lined 12x12 paper Black Foam Thickers Black and Green Zig Pen EK Success Bookwords Pure White WW Cardstock for border around photos Scenic Route Sumner Scrapstrip A-Z paper (name unknown) Hambly pink and brown over the chipboard heart Chipboard Heart (unknown) Misc. Date Stamp I also did some doodling around the edges of the AtoZ paper with my Zig. It really does add a nice touch. You can't really see it in the photo but it is there. Plus I duded up the journaling card I made with the SR lined paper. BTW...if you are in need of RIBBON and want a super good deal then go to the Scrapbooker Online store and buy some.
